Our Story

Bright Star Academy was born from the hearts of two passionate educators—Aaron and Michelle—who believe that every child deserves to learn through joy, imagination, and purpose.

With deep roots in science and the arts, they combined their love for education to create a place where curiosity comes alive, and young minds shine bright.

Our innovative enrichment programmes turn learning into an adventure, making STEM fun and accessible for everyone.

Why Drama-STEM, Not STEAM?

While STEAM rightfully acknowledges the importance of the Arts in creative thinking and innovation, it often treats "Art" as a broad umbrella, lacking clear direction or pedagogical focus, especially for early years.

In contrast, Drama-STEM puts a spotlight on one powerful artistic tool: Drama and Theatre.

In our Drama-STEM programme, children are not just passive learners, but explorers, inventors, astronauts, and doctors through role-play, storytelling, crafting, and improvisation.

By embodying scientific concepts and performing STEM ideas, children engage with complex topics in a playful, non-threatening way. As a result, children can truly discover their passion in learning because with Drama-STEM, it's not just facts and figures but stories, adventures, and discoveries.
